Cole is the first African American woman to be selected for membership into the Sigma Kappa Chapter of Chi Omega

 at Austin Peay State University. She is also a youth advocate, community activist,oversees missionary, 4-H, HOSA, Volunteer Girls State and Tennessee Governor's School alumna. She is the youngest recipient of the Jobelle Holcombe Outstanding Panhellenic Alumna Award of Chi Omega in convention history and a national scholarship winner.

She is the founder and creator of the Reach Out Initiative and serves as editor-in-chief of Teens for Change Magazine for Africa Change International, a nonprofit organization in Ghana.
