In March 2009 three parishes, a bishop and archdeacon departed from the UECNA. Approximately one month later, on April 19, 2009, St. Thomas Anglican Church's congregation voted to align with the Reformed Episcopal Church

Seamans was accepted by the REC and continues to serve at his church in Mountain Home.

Franciscan order

In February 2010, the first missional monastic order of the Anglican Church in North America chose to relocate to property immediately adjacent to the church. Mountain Home was selected after several cities were considered including St. Louis, Missouri; Tulsa, Oklahoma; Dallas-Fort Worth, Texas; and Toronto, Ontario, Canada. The first Minister General is Fr. Greg Mashburn a 15 year retired veteran of the United States Air Force.
