 by the Italian artist Gianlorenzo Bernini. Executed in 1617-8, it features the Christian martyr St Sebastian pinned to a tree, his flesh filled with arrows. The sculpture is part of the Thyssen-Bornemisza Collection, and is currently shown in Madrid.
