Operation Safe Kid

In 2002, after the school had 30 incidents of alcohol and drug related problems in the previous year, a police sting operation was conducted at the school, in which a Sheriff Deputy posed as a senior student for 6 months. As a result of the operation, 16 students and one non-student were arrested, mostly on drug-related charges.
