St. Peter's caters for around 300 children, aged 3 to 11. It was built for the residents of Cloughreagh Park in the 1960s

In DEC 2008 - JAN 2009 a new school project finished replacing the old school building. The new school incorporates improved facilities such as ramps and elevators for disabilities and interactive whiteboards, With 2 floors.

The school is situated next door to the Church of the Good Shepherd, which the children attend every Friday for prayer.
