History
Donald G. Scott opened his first store in 1954. In 1963, with partner William Reitz, he built Scott's Food Stores into a dominant grocery store chain in northeast Indiana. In 1991, Scott's was acquired by SuperValu, who later renamed it Scott's Food & Pharmacy. It soon grew along with other chains like Cub FoodsCub Foods
