New South Wales Rugby League
The New South Wales Rugby League is the governing body of rugby league in New South Wales and is a member of the Australian Rugby League. . The competition includes both junior representative teams of NRL and NSW Cup clubs that do not field a team in the NRL competition. In 2009 the Melbourne Storm from Victoria, was admitted to the competition. In 2010 the competition continued its national growth with the introduction of the WA Reds from Perth.
The S G Ball Cup is so named for S G (George) Ball, one of the five people responsible for the formation of South Sydney
