Republique

The Republique was comissioned in 1906. In 1910, a torpedo accidentally launched from her sistership struck her, damaging her hull. she was moored near the Liberte when she exploded, and her hull was again damaged, alogn with several crew members being injured. She saw minmimal service in World War I and was scrapped in 1921.

Patrie

Patrie was launched in 1907, and soon after, a pipe in her boiler burst, scalding several workers. In 1910, she accidentally fired a torpedo at her sistership, the Republique. After coastal defence service in World War I she was disarmed and used as a torpedo training vessel before being scrapped in 1928.
