 is a picturesque house designed by Alexander Jackson Davis

. It was built during 1848-1852 and is a "good example of the Gothic Revival mode, which was a reaction against the stringencies of the Greek Revival style".

It is the only house designed by Davis that is surviving in Onondaga County, since the demolition of the Charles Sedgewick Cottage on James Street in Syracuse.

 in 1979. Large scale gingerbreading in the front of the house, present in 2009, seems perhaps inconsistent with Gothic style, and was not present in 1962 or 1979 photos. Such gingerbread detail is shown, however, in a plan drawing included in the HABS file for the property.

It is located at 28 West Lake Street in Skaneateles.
