Plot

Porky is informed that his beloved Train the 13 named 'Toots' is to be replaced by a steamline train by the name of 'The Silver Fish'. After the driver of 'The Silver Fish' insults 'Toots', Porky mutters that his train could easily take on the steamline train. The driver agrees to a race that ends with Porky being the victor (thanks to a bull seeking revenge after being previously insulted by Porky) and becoming the new driver of 'The Silver Fish' whist a battered 'Toots' is on a trailer behind with 'Headin' for the last roundhouse' written on a sign attached to it.

Censorship

• On Nickelodeon, the scene in which The Silver Fish runs past a blackface "wood-pile" character was cut, as occasionally was the end scene showing Porky becoming the new Silver Fish controller.
• In the colorized-redrawn version of this cartoon (which also aired on Nickelodeon and a few public domain videos), in addition to the woodpile gag edit, the shot of the Silver Fish zooming into and out of a tunnel making it become inside out was also cut.

In Jokes

During the race, Porky runs over the top of a boat called the 'S.S Leon', a gag dedicated to the cartoon's producer Leon Schlesinger
