Pat & Oscar's, formerly known as "Oscar's", is a restaurant chain with about 20 locations in California. The first location was opened in 1991.

   bought 82% stake of the "Oscar's" chain.
• 2001 - The restaurant was renamed from "Oscar's" to "Pat & Oscars" to avoid trademark conflicts during expansion. Public marketing suggested that the reason was to give credit to Pat who also contributed to the business.
• 2008 - The management team of Pat & Oscars bought out the company.

In 2011, the company filed for bankruptcy.

Community Involvement

Pat & Oscars has valued community involved since its conception. In 2008, they raised an estimated $15,000 for the Make a Wish Foundation.
