 and Tom Parry. After 5 years as the four-man team "Pappy's Fun Club", the group decided to change the name to "Pappy's" and continue without fourth member, Brendan Dodds. The sketch team perform regularly on the London comedy circuit and at comedy clubs nationwide.

History

Pappy's Fun Club was established in July 2004 as a comedy collective, performing sketches, stand-up, character acts and music at regular shows in The Old Coffee House, in the Soho area of London. In 2005 the team began performing sketches at comedy nights on the London comedy circuit.

Pappy's Fun Club made their self-titled début appearance at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe

In August 2007 the team returned to the Edinburgh Fringe with their second show, again self-titled. This second outing attracted the attention of the national press, and a nomination for the 2007 if.comedy award (formerly the Perrier Comedy Award).

On 15 November 2007 the team appeared on the BBC Three comedy programme Comedy Shuffle. Also on this date, a special edition of the comedy podcast Answer Me This!
