. He left the radio business in July 2006, returning to his hometown of Tucson.

In November of 2008, Sanchez released his first book, "The Tao of Sanchez."

His venture into movies came in 2008 as well, investing in a low-budget horror film called, "Craig." In April 2010, he finally got behind the camera in a writer/director capacity, on his short film "Pocho."

In January 2011, Sanchez received a green light to shoot his first full-length feature film, "The Diary Of Babineaux." Filming will take place in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, beginning in March 2012.
