 since 2008. The game is coordinated by the student group OSU HVZ that runs the website where the participants have to record all interactions.

The first demo of the game was played only in Wilson Hall in 2008. The first campus wide game in fall term of 2009 had about 140 players and participation has grown rapidly since then. Some games have had more than one thousand participants. OSU was the first university in Oregon to host the game and from there it spread to Western Oregon University

Games are run twice a year and take about a month of planning to arrange. Campus police are consulted in the process.
