Response

The film received mixed reviews after its release. People claimed it to be 'inappropriate' and 'disappointing'. Critics said that Rhys Ifans gave the 'performance of his life' and portrayed a convincing Howard Marks. The film is an account of Howard Mark's biography that shares the same name of Mr. Nice which, although was successful on release, became more popular when the film was released.
