, he was asked to step in at the last minute when one of the actors failed to show.

, a single pilot episode which aired on the NBC television network. After NBC failed to pick up Summer Breeze, he decided it was time to go behind the camera and began to work as script consultant on a number of shows for Fox Television.

In 1993, he abruptly took over hosting duties for Spirit of Television

after a devastating fire nearly destroyed the Old Tucson Studios and the show was forced to move production to California. White hosted a total of 8 episodes before the show went on hiatus for re-tooling (never to return).

Personal life

White married in September 1996 and has 3 children. Shortly after the birth of his first child, White retired from the entertainment industry and moved to Northern Minnesota.
