 trains from Bremerhaven to Bremen call at the station, offering an hourly connection to both cities, with some peak services during the early morning and afternoon hours. The station's Bremen-bound track is only accessible by crossing the Bremerhaven-bound track, therefore imposing restrictions on train schedules. It is not allowed for any train to pass the station within four minutes of the departure of a passenger train.
