History

Loyens & Loeff was created in 2000 through a merger between the tax law firm Loyens & Volkmaars and part of the law firm Loeff Claeys Verbeke. The histories of these firms began in the early 20th century. Through this merger, Loyens & Loeff became the first firm where attorneys, tax lawyers, and civil law notaries integrated their services.
