About two thirds of the first season consist of five three-episode-long movies, three of which are available on DVD. Steven Moverly directs the pilot movie and first trilogy, but John Holt directs the show for the rest of the first season. The second season is directed by Jay Surridge and so far consists of trilogies.
Season Two began airing on the Nicktoons Network on March 24, 2011.

The first DVD of the new series was released on May 6, 2008 by Lionsgate. It contains the first movie of the new series. The DVD was released on May 6, 2008 in NTSC areas. The PAL release date is unknown so far. A second DVD containing the second 3-part episode, "The Fast Track", and more bonus features, has been released on October 7, 2008.
