Kessler's American Blended Whiskey has carried the slogan "Smooth as Silk" for over fifty years now. Julius Kessler himself started distilling whiskey in the late 19th century. Every label on his whiskey carries his likeness and his signature to assure consumers of its superiority and uses that to authenticate the quality in every bottle. It is made from 50% grain neutral spirits and 50% straight whiskey. It is one of America's top selling blended whiskey. It is bottled at 80 proof (40% ABV) in newly charred white oak barrels. It is sold in glass in 16 oz pint bottles, glass 750ml bottles, glass 1-liter bottles and plastic 1.75L bottles.
