José Luis Uribarri is a Spanish television presenter and director for TVE.

Uribarri was born in Avila

, after finishing school at Marist school in Palencia he went on to study law but left to work for Spanish television as a television announcer.
He debut as a television presenter in 1958 and has since then been one of the populest television presenters in Spanish television.

Uribarri is closely associated with the Eurovision Song Contest
