J. Reginald Murphy

J. Reginald Murphy was the editor of the Atlanta Constitution and San Francisco Examiner. He was kidnapped on February 20, 1974, and was freed two days later after the Atlanta Constitution paid $700,000 ransom. William A. H. Williams was later arrested for the crime, and most of the money was recovered.
