, and Troy State University. He has guided his teams to six NCAA tournament appearances, one WNIT appearance, and has coached six all-Americans. As a head coach, he has posted a 290-118 (.711) record. He completely transformed a struggling Louisiana-Lafayette program, and posted a 65-28 record over his final seasons there.

In 2006, he guided Louisiana-Lafayette to a 25-9 record, and a Sun Belt Conference regular season championship.
