After an unsuccessful trial at the Chicago Fire of the MLS in 2007 Mack moved to France in 2009 and went on trial with CS Louhans-Cuiseaux in the French Championnat National. His trial at Louhans concluded with 5 preseason games and 2 assists tallied. Louhans would eventually be denied a work permit for Mack before the 2009/2010 season.
