Left to Tell recounts how Immaculée Ilibagiza survived for 91 days with another seven other women during the Rwandan Genocide in a small bathroom, no larger than 3 foot (0.9144 m) long and 4 feet (1.2 m) wide. Ilibagiza's entire family was killed (mother, father, two brothers), with the exception of her eldest brother, Aimable who was studying somewhere else while the genocide was going on. In June 2011, it was reported that the story will be adapted into a film starring Rutina Wesley
