Halsbury’s Law Exchange is a legal think tank based in the United Kingdom.

Aims and objectives

The thinktank states that it aims to contribute to the development of law and the legal sector, as well as communicate ideas on reform or legal direction to decision makers and the legal sector and promote debate through papers, reports, events and media pieces. Its objectives: to examine the rule of law, the structure of the legal system and the development of the legal sector; contribute to the development of an efficient statutory framework; and to comment on current legal issues that impact on society and put forward proposals to ensure the law is just.

Mission

According to Halsbury's Law Exchange website, its specific mission is to support the rule of law in the United Kingdom by promoting an effective legal framework and stimulating public debate on major issues.

Environment: International environmental problems are in a legal lacuna; is an international court for the environment now an imperative?
