who competed in the 1936 Summer Olympics
and in the 1948 Summer Olympics
.
In 1936 he competed under the name Gösta Jönsson and won the bronze medal in the freestyle featherweight competition.
Twelve years later he won the silver medal in the freestyle lightweight event.
