Corruption Conviction

In October of 1942 Ashe was convicted by a jury on charges of conspiracy involving city purchases. In November of 1942 Ashe was sentenced to a year in the House of Correction by Judge Vincent T. Erogna. Ash began his sentence on On December 22, 1942.
