Stone, Time, Touch is a 2007 documentary made by Gariné Torossian about the relationship of three Armenian women from the diaspora with the land of Armenia. The young woman is visiting Armenia for the first time...

 which won best feature at the Warsaw International Film Festival in 2007. She was awarded a DAAD fellowship in Berlin the same year.

Her first short film VISIONS was part of a retrospective at Centre Pompidou (Paris) when she was 22. Her subsequent shorts were screened at New York Museum of Modern Art (NY) Cineprobe when she was 25.

Retrospectives of her work have taken place at MoMa, Telluride Film Festival (Colorado), Lux Cinema (London), Jerusalem Film Festival, Warsaw International Film Festival, and a host of cinematheques, including those in Berlin, Edmonton, Ottawa, Winnipeg, Vancouver, Beirut and Yerevan. Her second short film GIRL FROM MOUSH (1994) was awarded best experimental film at the Melbourne International Film Festival in 1994.

In 1999, she was commissioned by experimental musician Sparklehorse to produce a short music video inspired by his music. The resulting video SPARKLEHORSE (1999) received honorable mention at the 2000 Berlin International Film Festival. Two years later, her short film featuring the music of Sparklehorse, BABIES ON THE SUN (2002) received best short film prize at the Berlin International Film Festival. HOKEES (2000) was Torossian's first narrative film. It won a gold prize for experimental drama at the Houston Film Festival in 2000 and best short at the AFFMA Film Festival in Los Angeles (2000). Torossian's STONE TIME TOUCH (2007) is a feature length documentary filmed mostly in Armenia. It was awarded best documentary feature at the Warsaw International Film Festival in 2007. Torossian's work has been broadcast on Arte France, Documentary Channel (Canada), Bravo Canada, Sundance Channel (USA), SBS (Australia) and WTN (Canada).
