Douglas Laing & Co

Douglas Laing & Co is a Glasgow-based independent bottler and blender of Scotch whisky. The company was founded in 1948 by Fred Douglas Laing, and it has remained in Laing family control ever since. Today the company is run by brothers Fred and Stewart Laing.

Old Malt Cask

Amongst Douglas Laing’s back catalogue of whiskies is the Old Malt Cask range which was launched in 1998. This includes single cask whiskies bottled at 50% abv (the company cite this as their preferred drinking strength). These whiskies are neither caramel-coloured nor chill-filtered
