The only visible character is an illustrated version of the author sitting behind his laptop and on the phone. All supporting characters are expressed through dialogue, usually as a voice on the phone. The tone of the webcomic is often ironic and cynical, a direct reflection of the characters themselves. It also takes comedic jabs at the entertainment industry and offers a satirical look at pop culture and social phenomenon.
