On April 30, 2003, Arista distributed two versions of the new group's promo single. The first version had "Rock wit Me" on side A and "Didn't You Know" on side B. The second version had the opposite. A digital download was available June 2, 2003 and a commercial 12" vinyl single was released July 15, 2003.
The song peaked at number 76 on the Billboard

A music video was planned for September, but when the song didn't chart well, Arista cancelled the video shoot and pushed back the group's full-length release. A CD single, a new 12" single (including the remixes), and digital edition of the remixes were released October 13 and 14, 2003.
