Dark Tide: Siege
Encyclopedia
Dark Tide II: Siege was originally to be the second in a proposed trilogy
in the New Jedi Order series of novels. It was to be written by Michael A. Stackpole
and published in 2000. The book was to take place between the two books of what became the Dark Tide duology: Onslaught and Ruin. Before the book was written, however, the production company producing the series cancelled the book and made the Dark Tide trilogy a duology. Half of the plot of the book was put into the end of Onslaught while the other half was put in Ruin. If Siege was included, the result would have been: Dark Tide I: Onslaught, Dark Tide II: Siege, and Dark Tide III: Ruin.
