He was traded back to Toluca for the Apertura 2002-2003, but for the Clausura, he packed his bags to Morelia. It seemed that Ramirez could not stay with one team. In the Apertura 2003-2004 tournament he was traded to America
. He stayed with America, but was sent down to play with America's Primera A team. Later, he was traded to rival club Chivas for the Clausura 2004-2005.
