The Municipal Cemetery of Santana, also known as Chora Menino Cemetery is a Brazilian cemetery located in the district of Santana
, in the north of São Paulo
City, and is one of the oldest necropolis
of Brazil.
He was first used as an illegal grave in 1826, was a wasteland that people used to bury his relatives, and after officially declared a Cemetery on 1897, with an area of 41.000m² and already with more than 1000 graves, now his area is of 38.485m² with aproximadetely 12.000 graves and 76 mausoleums.
