Cancún Challenge

The Cancún Challenge is a preseason tournament organized by Triple Crown Sports which features eight NCAA Division I men’s basketball
teams. Since 2009, there are eight games played in the United States and eight games played at the Moon Palace Resort in Cancún

. Teams are separated into two divisions, the Riviera and Mayan, with the winner of the Riviera bracket named tournament champion. Because of a scheduling conflict, the 2010 tournament was played at the Aventura Palace in Playa del Carmen
