. This ship was part of the CG Program Vessels and was mainly designed as a high-endurance and multi-tasked boat. Her crew is composed of 25 members of the Canadian Coast Guards.

As a light icebreaker, most of her duties are along the St. Lawrence River and able to the handle ice thickness in the Seaway.
