. For the first time in almost a decade, the group's record sales began to rise once again, and the title track received heavy airplay on Schlager radio. The group recorded this album as a trio, consisting of Bernd Hengst, Olaf Malolepski and Manfred Durban, the line-up that remains to this day. Heinz Rupprich and Uwe Busse produced this album. Busse would remain the group's primary producer for the next nineteen years.

Parts of the refrain of "Silbermond und goldene Sterne" were re-used some years later by the Austrian group Die Paldauer in a song with the same name.

"Ein kleines Lied vom Sonnenschein" had a children's choir in the background
