Barrett and Pauline were avid fisherman and members of the Santa Catalina Island

Barrett died at the age of 60, and is interred at Angelus Rosedale Cemetery in Los Angeles. After Andrew's death in 1905, Pauline married Eckman. Pauline and Eckman are buried in the Barrett plot at Angeles Rosedale Cemetery.
