Andreas Öberg is a Swedish guitar player.

Early life

Öberg was born in Stockholm on August 6, 1978. He began playing guitar at the age of 8 years old and studied at the Royal College of Music in Stockholm.

Career

As a song writer, Andreas has co-written songs with Andreas Carlsson, Michele Vice-Maslin, Adrian Newman, Ludwig Goransson, Didrik Thott, Sebastian Thott, Kalle Engström. Jany Schella, Chris Antblad, Fredrik Thomander, Johan Becker, Dan Sundquist, Carl Björsell and many more.

Öberg is also a teacher and lecturer at the Musicians Institute (formerly GIT) in Hollywood.

In 2009, Öberg created the Andreas Guitar Universe, together with ArtistWorks Inc, founded by former AOL executive David Butler. AGU is an interactive internet guitar training program with students of different styles and levels from all over the world.

In 2010, Öberg released his first club/dance single on i-tunes called "Parenzo Summer", produced and arranged by U-NAM.

Öberg is also a songwriter and composer, having written numerous of titles for TV, internet and radio world wide.
