Amil is the biggest Latin America healthcare company and the biggest medical private company of Brazil. The company is controlled by Brazilian billionaire Edson de Godoy Bueno.

Amil serves more than 5 million members in 6 Brazilian States and Federal District. The Company will is also the managed care organization with the largest accredited network of the country, approximately 3600 hospitals, 62,000 and outpatient facilities; and 11,200 laboratories and centers for diagnostic imaging.

Amil was founded in 1978 and offers a wide variety of healthcare plans fore company of all sizes, as well as plans for individuals of all income segments, its beneficiaries access to hospitals, clinics and doctors.

Amil its listed in BM&F Bovespa since 2007, being the biggest Brazilian medical company by market value.
