The first games of the season began on the weekend of August 26 with interconference regular season matches, usually played through early season tournaments. All schools played their first intra-conference regular season matches during the weekend of September 23. The regular season ended by November 4, where each conference held its annual tournament to determine the conference's tournament champion and automatic berth into the 2011 NCAA Division I Men's Soccer Tournament, which will be played in November and December.
