Owned by Bill Caralis, Broadcast Operations Group operates a number of radio stations in northern New South Wales & southern Queensland, Australia. These are collectively known as the "Super Radio Network"...

. The station targets the 18-39 market with a mostly top 40 hits format, though in networking hours the format shifts to a more adult contemporary mix.

It began broadcasting on January 1 1994 from its Goonellabah studios. First announcer on air was Dave Williams, followed by Vashti Stewart, Neil Marks & Mike O'Reilly. The first song played on air was 'Glen Frey' with 'The Heat Is On'.

Triple Z is live 6am to 6pm weekdays and 6am to 12pm weekends, switching to a network feed outside of these hours.
