Dear folks, wrote to long of a letter, Dang it. BUT, what is the worth of a patent, "1873" Remington, octagon barrel, breech loader, 22, these days. I was offered big money at a gun store. It's an heirloom. If I were to give it away, it would go to Mr. Remington's museum. BUT, if the right dollar amount came along, might take that too. I want my grandaughter to shoot it first....just wondering. Herb neeland
