I have a history question, I served as an E3 at Sigonella from 1966 to Fall 1967 my rate was Tradevsman and I was assigned the bombing range near Pachino.
My question is regarding a tragic crash at our airfield in either late spring or the summer of 1967, I was on my 3 off days and was at the airfield when it happend. I believe that five aircrew perished in the crash, I've lost my notebook I kept, possibly during a move.
