I am interested if anyone still remembers the fabulous "flats,"In the middle to late 1960's by Capezio.Their "Flats" were very much in as far as fashion went in Tucson and Phoenix, Arizona. One store in Tucson carried these shoes called the "College Shop." They were the most popular flats worn by the Universities and even the high school girls and women. The designs were classic and unique. The flats came in a multitude of colors,it was amazing how many colors and color combinations Capezio came up with; made from kid glove leather, and leather soles, they were heavily in demand. I can still remember in detail the designs. With all the flats out today none compare with what Capezio had done with the "flat." Who were they designed by, and would the company every think of bringing those designs (and colors) back?
