Why was he hated so much? I have never up to this momne tunderstood why he had to be taken out so brutally only for the conspirators to put his killer(Tshombe who was the key conspirator by secceeding from the central government) as on the same seat as PM to fight the against secceesion by lumumbas followers?Why did the US refuse his request only to turn behind and offer the same assiatance Lumumba had asked to his killer Tshombe? Was it because this guy could say things no other african during his time would have said infront of the wrong audience? Was it his burning nationalist spirit which made him ready to accept any fate that came his way for the unity of the Congo? Why have the Killers and the guys who shamelessly boasted of having wasted the corpses in the most brutal way not been brought to justice?
