Why do so many of the early(air-cooled) porsche owners not really accept the later models(water-cooled) as real porsches, why would you not just welcome them to your porsche family? i bought a 2002 996 carrera, i love it, & i really don't like the body style as much as i do a 993 model, but i still consider it a real porsche, i just couldn't justify buying an older model with not as cold air, dependability, interior just doesn't look as good, but pay about the same price as my newer model, just because it is air-cooled, not to mention the ride is so much better in the newer model!
