Why cellular respiration take place in mitochondria and not in nucleus but nucleus is the controlling centre of body?

Because cellular respiration has nothing to do with controlling the body, its about making energy for the body to be able to move. Without cellular respiration, you would be paralyzed. Also, the nucleus doesnt control your body, it tells your cells what to do. Your cells work together along with your other body systems to 'control' your body.
