Where does the Mississippi River link up to the Red River where there is capability to move a barge from one river to the other?

The Red River runs into the Atchafalaya River in central Louisiana. The Atchafalaya and Mississippi River run roughly parallel to each other from central Louisiana to the Gulf of Mexico. There have been cuts made between the two rivers connecting them, but I believe these were made for flood control in the Atchafalaya Basin. I know that barges travel up and down the Mississippi, but I am not sure about the Atchafalaya or Red. If one wanted to do so, it would have to be done by taking one of the cuts made between the Atchafalaya and the Mississippi, and then to the Red River.
I hope this helps.
